Citizen Science

Welcome!

In the coming weeks I'll be documenting my participation in eBird, a citizen science project geared towards collecting bird data.  I've always been a casual birdwatcher, but I've never made a point to study and learn about different species.  My identification skills are nonexistent, but I've always enjoyed observing bird behavior.  When it came time to select a project to involve myself with, this seemed like the obvious choice.  Through this blog I'll share specifics about the project, my personal efforts and progress, and hopefully a few photographs of my encounters.
